“ It was our first time here. We always drive by and the parking lot is packed so we stopped today. Food was great and delicious! Service was great and friendly and fast. We got a boneless wings game day special. Definitely worth it and very good. Wraps and sandwiches were delicious, affordable, and filling! The menu and variety for sandwiches (hot or cold), burgers, salads, wraps, apps, had so many options! Will definitely be returning in the future to catch the games! And speaking of that, they had 8 TV's all around the bar (11 in total but 3 were used to show lottery and non-sports at the time we were there), with seating and high top tables. Also had a nice dining area away from the bar with normal seating and booths but the TV's could still be seen from there too. Glad we stopped! ”
“ Excellent place every visit. Food is delicious, and all the staff we ever encountered are so nice. Last visit, we tried Buffalo chicken egg rolls. I don't know if they have them all the time, may have been a special, but they were excellent. Wish we had taken an order to go. Highly recommend this place for a get together with friends. Some patrons had young children with them, so it is family-friendly. I personally wouldn't bring picky kids there. The two tables near us had younger kids and they were bored quickly. I remember those days when my kids were younger, and I feel this place is better enjoyed with older children or a group of adults. ”
“ Great little place - think bar food delicious. Your "bar food" favorites that are actually tasty and cooked well. Between us we had mini tacos and onion rings for appetizers, BLC (BLT subbing out the tomato for cucumber), BBQ chicken wings, and a sandwich. Nothing was overcooked. It was all fresh. I appreciated them being able to customize food to our requests without any issues (like adding mayo and cucumber to our daughter's sandwich). Service was pretty good too. The only disappointing part was they were out of the meat for the sandwich we originally wanted. We were also told food would take about an hour when we first arrived, but it didn't seem like it took that long. ”
“ The seared tuna salad with ginger dressing was delicious. The crab cakes were large and mostly crab. Also delicious. My son had the full Philly steak it was tremendous. The 22 year old college athlete could only eat half, but was looking forward to lunch tomorrow. Draft beer selection of local and national beers was also good. ”
“ Brisket was excellent as were the flatbreads (especially the shrimp scampi). Great selection of beer on tap and wine. Also have featured cocktails. Definitely will go back to try out some different foods. Very clean. Friendly staff. ”
“ Updated: 10/15/2024 Came back to J & J not for a hoagie, for a cheese steak. Now I only got a half, because my other half was an Italian Hoagie. This was packed with steak, provolone cheese, mushrooms, onions, and sauce. The bread was so soft, it tasted as if it was baked there. Now I don't know if they do or not but definitely tasted like it. I'll be back! I have not had a J & J hoagie in ages, I remember the old location and that was nice for the time. This restaurant and bar and beer side location is just amazing. Walked in having no clue where to go the staff was very helpful polite and professional. I ordered their version of the Italian with mayo no dressing, lettuce tomato onion cheese sweet peppers and pickles. I went for the whole which was gigantic. Definitely will be back! ”
“ Service was great! Food was even better. Prices was super affordable and you get really good sized servings. Drinks from the bar are good as well. Definitely will be back again. ”
“ Back again, later than expected, but validated on many levels. Glad we got to experience this a 2nd time! This was first visit since they relocated to this hot spot in Dallas, PA. I liked the beer menu and found a beer I enjoyed enough that I took a 6 pack home. I really liked the soup my wife got and it was something I wish I ordered as well. Food was good, kids enjoyed it, and I will go back and try the 2 other things I wanted as well. Known for their sandwiches. They do give huge portions which is mind blowing. Half a hoagie is a normal hoagie/sub anywhere else....Insane!!! Check it out, you won't be disappointed you went ”
